Inventory market replace: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.62%


NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index closed on a unfavorable notice on Friday.

Shares of Granules India(up 4.44 per cent), Divis Laboratories(up 0.58 per cent), Ipca Laboratories(up 0.23 per cent), Torrent Prescription drugs(up 0.16 per cent) and Natco Pharma(up 0.11 per cent) ended the day as high gainers within the pack.


Alternatively, Biocon(down 3.39 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma(down 3.13 per cent), Alkem Laboratories(down 1.96 per cent), Cadila Healthcare(down 1.15 per cent) and Glenmark Prescription drugs(down 1.02 per cent) completed as the highest losers of the day.

The Nifty Pharma index closed 0.62 per cent down at 13964.15.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 2.05 factors at 18255.75, whereas the BSE Sensex stood down 12.27 factors at 61223.03.

Among the many 50 shares within the Nifty index, 21 ended within the inexperienced, whereas 28 closed within the purple.

Shares of JP Energy, Vodafone Concept, Suzlon Vitality, YES Financial institution and HFCL have been among the many most traded shares on the NSE.
