CPI writes to Jagan on honest value retailers


Communist Get together of India (CPI) State secretary Ok. Ramakrishna on Wednesday wrote to Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, urging him to take crucial steps to resolve the issues confronted by sellers of honest value retailers within the State.


Mr. Ramakrishna stated that the sellers have been pressured to pay electrical energy expenses, store hire, and unloading bills from the fee paid to them. Their incomes have come down drastically as a result of door supply system. They have been unable to promote non-PDS commodities because the ration cardholders weren’t coming to the retailers. Additionally, the fee for promoting pink gram and entire bengal gram was not paid until date. On high of this, the federal government was not permitting them to promote gunny luggage. The federal government is requested to permit the sellers to promote gunny luggage used for packing rice and different commodities, and handle their different calls for instantly, Mr. Ramakrishna requested.
